1. Loxus Hair & Make-up by Maya Jasinska accepts bridal bookings up to 24 months in advance.
2. MINIMUM BOOKING POLICY
On the day the minimum booking fee of £250* plus travel cost is required for your wedding day with Loxus Hair and Make-up by Maya Jasinska HMUA.
3. CONSULTATION & TRIAL
3.1 We will travel to your chosen location for the Bridal Consultation and Trial. This will occur ideally between 6 and months prior to your wedding. Travel cost will be calculated accordingly.
3.2 Would you wish to have the Bridal Consultation and Trial session to occur at the Loxus studio, in comfortable and relaxed atmosphere,the Loxus studio is located in Cardiff.
3.3 If requested, Loxus Hair and Make-up can provide hair accessories.
3.4 Wedding consultation and trial can take up to 4 hrs for the bride. This is based on one person per booking.
3.4.1 Running over the 4 hrs allowance might results in someone else's losing their appointment.
3.4.2 Therefore, should you need more time to decide, additional cost will apply, and it is calculated at £100 per hour which is payable on the day of the trial.
3.4.3 At the trial session we limit the hairstyles to two choices. Both tried at the session. Regarding Hollywood waves hairstyle go to section 3.8. We create make-up look upon all the information, communication and inspirations gathered up to date, and to the best of our knowledge.
3.5 Should you need a second trial for any reason, this will be booked and paid separately, and on the day of the trial at the same trial cost as quoted.
3.6 Trial sessions are not limited to one only, but only one session is included in the chosen collection.
3.7 Additional trials are held at the Loxus studio at 14Heol Pant Y Rhyn, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 7DF.
3.7.1 You can book as many trials as you wish.
3.7.2 Every additional trial session would be treated as a new appointment, and therefore would be charged as per original trial cost.
3.7.3 This is payable on the day of the trial.
3.7.4 Timing of the additional trial is the same as per our guidance sent on email. For more information head to section 3.4.
3.7.5 Bridal party members requesting a trial.
Trials for the members of the bridal party are also welcomed and can be booked upon request.
3.8 HOLLYWOOD WAVES
3.8.1 Requesting any form of Hollywood waves hairstyle, whether this is all down, or half up half down may take longer or significantly longer if working with hair extensions, and therefore the trial for hair and make-up will exceed 4 hrs limit. Which means additional time should be booked in advance.
3.8.2 The additional time allocated in advance will not incur any additional cost.
3.8.3 The looks are limited to one choice.
3.8.4 Should you wish to try a different hairstyle go to section 3.7 for guidance.
3.8.5 The timing needed for on the day is to be calculated after the trial session, and the schedule is created accordingly.
4. SECURE YOUR WEDDING DATE AND OTHER PAYMENTS
4.1 To secure your wedding day, a 20% deposit is required, and £200 for the bespoke collection.
4.1.1 The invoice/receipt is sent to deposit and reserve the date.
4.2 Once the payment of deposit is received, we will send email confirmation upon receipt.
4.2.1 At this point you are accepting the chosen collection and our T's&C's
4.3 Payments acceptance is via bank transfer.
Payments by card, the provider fee may be charged additionally to ours. Payment by cheque or cash is not accepted.
4.4 Assistant fee of £100 may apply and will be added to the final cost.
4.5 Second payment is made in the week of the trial and not later than on the day of the trial. This is 50% of the total. Receipt is sent upon the payment.
4.5.1 The 50% of the total is payable upon invoice. Strictly follow the instruction on the invoice.
4.6 The final balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
4.6.1 The final invoice is sent and payable 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
4.6.2 Should this be closer in time strictly follow the instruction on the invoice.
4.6.3 The payment must be made strictly prior to the wedding day, and not after.
4.7 Securing your wedding date means securing the chosen quote and accepting these T's&C's.
4.7.1 We allow secured clients to make final amendments to the quote appropriately to the agreement between the client and Maya Jasinska HMUA who acts as the owner of LOXUS Hair and Makeup by Maya Jasinska HMUA.
4.7.2 Secured dates and original quotes cannot be reduced of the services. These services were scheduled, and assistants were reserved upon these bookings. Only in unforeseen circumstances changes may apply.
4.8 Additional services, other services or products
Additional service, other services is added upon request where the payment is due at the time of the booking.
Additional products payment is taken at the time of the request to cover the cost of the product.
4.8.1 Extensions hire comes under separate contract and will be issued upon specific request.
5. SPECIAL OCCASION AND PARTY SERVICES
5.1 Special occasion or party services are at the cost of £60 per service per hour, or £70 per service per hour and 20min appointments.
5.2 The timing is strictly for the appointment.
5.2.1 Should you think you need more time for the service you must book two appointments.
5.3 Being late for the appointment reflects on the result of the final look and the next client.
5.4 Arrive to your appointment 5min prior to the time.
5.4 Being late for your appointment may result in refusing the service due to the benefit of the next client.
5.5 We will refuse the service after 15min of waiting.
6. THE WEDDING MORNING
6.1 Loxus Hair and Make-up calculates the start and finish of your wedding morning preparation accordingly to the services in your collection/quote.
6.1.1 Schedule and timings are confirmed prior to the wedding, after the trial and no later than one month in advance to the wedding date, unless discussed otherwise. Schedule and timing must be strictly obeyed. At this point no cancellation is accepted. Head to section 10, subsection 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 for more information.
6.2 Should you request additional services not in the original quote, these might be or might not be accepted by Loxus Hair and Make-up depending on the schedule, time of the ceremony, location etc.
6.2.1 Waiting for a guest for more than 30min, on the morning of the wedding, to provide the service, will result in this guest missing their allocated time, and therefore the service might be refused by Maya, or any other assistant Artist in the morning of the wedding day.
6.3 We usually allow up to an hour for the Bride’s Hair, and up to an hour for the Bride’s Makeup on the day – a maximum total of 2 hours for the Bride’s Hair & Makeup. Hollywood waves hairstyle will exceed this timing. For Hollywood waves timing head to section 3.8. For the bridal parties we usually allow up to 45min per hair or make-up per person.
6.4 LOOK CHANGE - The look change is scheduled for the time requested at the booking of the service and is booked prior to the wedding.
6.4.1 Schedule and timings are confirmed prior to the wedding. This must be strictly obeyed.
6.4.2 Failing to obey the schedule and timings, results in additional charges, and is calculated on every starting hour above the original booking.
6.4.3 Additional hour is charged at £100 per hour, where the invoice is sent after the wedding.
6.4.4 We keep the right to leave the premises after original time booking is finished. This is regardless of whether the look change taking place or not. We have by then already worked over 12hrs and therefore deserved rest for the day ahead.
We can leave the premises at any point after the scheduled booking is over.
6.4.5 We keep the right to refuse the services after the scheduled booking time is over.
7.1 Communication is crucial when it comes to planning your wedding morning.
It starts from the moment you first contact us.
To achieve the best possible results, always follow the guidance and instructions from the emails, voice notes or messages, but not limited.
7.2 The main form of communication is via email. This way we can assure our clients for the best service, reference to the past communication and requests.
7.3 Additional form of communication would be via WhattApp. This is rare occurrence, and is only used to send bigger files e.g. trial video, to the client.
8. MILEAGE AND TRAVEL
8.1 Mileage charges outside of Cardiff are at the standard of 50pence per mile.
8.2 Mileage cost is calculated from the Loxus Hair & Make-up postcode of CF14 7DF and is added to your final quote.
8.3 First 20 miles for on the day in our Classic, Signature, and Luxury collection are included.
8.4 Bespoke collection the travel cost is calculated accordingly.
8.5 Where approximately travel calculation is given, these may be subject to change. This will be accordingly to government travel expenses fee per mile or/and living cost.
9. DESTINATION WEDDING
9.1 We accept requests for destination weddings.
9.2 The consultation takes place to give as much information as possible and to create the best plan to follow.
9.3 The guidance and instructions are emailed to the Bride.
9.3.1 These need to be followed as per individual booking.
9.4 The plan and T's&C's are accepted.
9.5 The deposit is paid upon invoice.
9.6 Should one not need a trial follow the guidance sent on email.
9.7 Travel, flights, accommodations and other expenses are calculated closer to the time.
9.7.1 These are to be fully accepted by the client before any reservation is made.
9.7.2 The invoice to cover the cost is sent to the client.
9.7.3 Invoice to be paid before any booking or reservation is made.
10.1 Deposit to secure the wedding day is non-refundable/ non-transferable.
Payments for other services are non-refundable/non-transferable.
10.1.1 Those dates will have been reserved for you, resulting in a loss of earnings.
10.1.2 Schedule-Cancellation of services is not accepted.
10.1.3 In such circumstances the full balance must be cleared to the account within 3days of the cancellation. The invoice is sent and must be paid in full.
10.2 Cancellation of services within four months will not be accepted.
10.2.1 In such circumstances the full balance must be cleared to the account within 3days of the cancellation.
10.2.2 The invoice is sent and must be paid in full.
10.3 Failing to follow section 13 of these T's&C's may result in loosing services.
10.3.1 In such circumstances we will inform you about this in writing.
10.3.2 We will issue final invoice which the full balance must be cleared to the account within 3days from the date of the invoice.
10.4 Loxus Hair and Make-up recommends taking wedding insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.
11.1All the invoices must be paid accordingly and within terms and conditions of the invoice.
11.2 Additional charge will apply to the overdue invoices daily at £1 rate.
11.3 Inconvenience charge may apply e.g., rescheduling, repeatedly contacting the person/company in order to receive accurate details, postponing trials, fail to give notice of any changes in advance, questioning these terms and conditions, admin work , but not limited.
This charge will apply in a lump sum of appropriate timescale, and it starts from £90.
As much as we like our job, we also have family, and other commitments, as well as the simple need of free time. We do not work 24/7. Therefore, respecting ours out of hours personal time is crucial for the well-being of ourselves as well as being able to provide the best service for our clients.
Contacting us outside of our working hours will classify as inconvenience.
We work unsociable days, times, and hours as a wedding supplier.
Respect our free time as you respect your own free time.
11.4 Failing to comply with the invoices terms' and conditions' may result in seeking legal advice.
11.4.1 In the circumstances where the legal advice will be taken, client will be informed prior to the action, and the legal fees will add to the unpaid or overdue invoice, where the T's&C's apply in the same power and must be paid respectfully in full.
12. PHOTOS AND PUBLICATIONS
12.1 Loxus Hair and Make-up by Maya Jasinska HMUA holds the right to publish the photos, videos or any material that is recorded by the owner Maya Jasinska or any associate, taken at the time of the trial, the wedding day, or the event, but not limited.
12.1.1 These materials are the property of the owner of Loxus Hair and Make-up by Maya Jasinska HMUA
12.1.2 The materials recorded and published helps other brides or clients to make decisions in their choices, and therefore are very useful to the viewer.
12.2 We hold the rights to publish the photos, videos or any material that the company is tagged in. These materials had been shared to the public by other supplier and therefore the supplier received client's permission for publication.
12.2.1 We hold the right to publish the photos, videos or any material that the company received from either the supplier or the client. These materials have been shared with us in a good will and to show appreciation.
12.3 We always respect privacy of our clients.
12.3.1 Therefore should you not wish the materials to be published, the written request needs to be emailed prior to the event taking place to
12.4 We will use Client’s first name or initials only if we think it is safe to do so.
12.4.1 Should you not wish for these to be used; the written request needs to be emailed prior to the event taking place to email@example.com
12.5 We will accept and respect each or both requests if confirmed at the time of the event taking place, and not after.
13. CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITY
13.1 It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Company or Team member who is engaged to provide the service of any potential issues such as but not limited to medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. Neither the Company nor Team member can be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed the Company and/or Team member of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.
13.2 The Company and/or Team member reserve the right to cancel the Agreement if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate, the Client do not follow one or more of the Terms and Conditions, and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Team member deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases, any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service, or are due to pay upon invoice are non-refundable.
14. LOXUS HAIR AND MAKE-UP RESPONSIBILITY
14.1 Loxus Hair and Make-up will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.
In the situations of circumstances beyond the control where a team member is unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. We will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.
We reserve the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that it is not able to honour the Agreement. This entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the client.
15.OUR RIGHT TO VARY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BY SECURING A BOOKING OR REQUESTING A TRIAL THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
